About Dr. Lucas
Dr. Lucas is a Board certified psychiatrist who has over 30 years of experience in treating patients suffering from different mood and psychotic disorders. Currently, Dr. Lucas is acting Mental Health Medical Director at Baptist Medical Center in Montgomery, and sees patients ages 19 and up.
Dr. Lucas attended the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. He later attended Duke University for the first part of his psychiatric residency before finishing in Atlanta at Emory University. Dr. Lucas has practiced medicine in the Birmingham area for over 20 years. He served as Chairman of the Board of Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham from 2012 to 2014.
