Janet Miller, L.C.S.W., P.I.P.

Janet Miller works with adults and adolescents individually, as well as couples and families. She treats patients with various mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, and those who are having difficulty with life problems/transitions, anger management, divorce, grief, terminal medical diagnosis, somatic concerns, and physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. Janet was a high school English teacher in Louisiana before changing careers. She often incorporates the teaching of coping skills into the therapy process. Helping patients cope with whatever traumas or losses life represents, Janet sees therapy as a grief process.
