Michael Thornton, L.P.C.

Michael Thornton is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works as a mental health therapist for children, adolescents, and adults. Michael received his M.S. and Ed.S degrees in Counseling and Human Development from Troy University. Michael has worked in various settings including schools, boot camps, group homes, mental health agencies, community centers, athletic teams, detention facilities, and private practices to name a few. In addition, he has also served as an adjunct professor in the psychology department of a local university to help equip upcoming and incumbent professionals, and he is also a published author, having published the book "A Character Education Manual for Adolescents Using Structured Play Therapy" which serves as a resource for teachers and counselors.
