Wendy Cavey, PMHNP

Wendy Cavey is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about treating patients with a wide range of mental health disorders. She has experience in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, autism, trauma, childhood behavioral disorders, schizophrenia, as well as many other mental health disorders. She treats patients from 5 years old and older and has a special interest in vulnerable populations. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialty from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Post-Master Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from the University of Arizona, and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Troy University. She has had over 27 years’ experience in the nursing field before joining Grayson & Associates, including 13 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner, 12 years teaching FNP students, and has served in a humanitarian capacity at the U.S./Mexico border for the past 5 years. She is an expert on human trafficking and enjoys sharing this knowledge with medical professionals via peer-reviewed journal articles and speaking engagements.
