About Anthony Phillips
Anthony is a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience treating children (6+), adolescents, and adults.
After obtaining his RN license, and while pursuing his Master’s degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, he worked as a registered nurse on the child/adolescent psychiatric inpatient unit at UAB Hospital. Upon completing graduate school he transitioned to outpatient care as a nurse practitioner.
Anthony is especially interested in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders as well as ADHD. He is a firm believer that physical health and mental health are intimately linked – “There is no health without mental health.”
