About Dr. Mian

Dr. Mian is a board certified psychiatrist, having recently completed residency in general adult psychiatry at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine and its affiliated hospitals. He received his medical degree from Avalon University School of Medicine in the Caribbean and prior to that earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Louisville in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Mian’s interests within psychiatry include the treatment of mood disorders, psychosis, anxiety, and PTSD. He believes in the biopsychosocial approach to diagnosis, treatment, and longterm management of mental illness.
