About Emily Henley
Emily Henley is a Licensed Professional Counselor who enjoys working with children, adults, and families. She has experience treating a variety of diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress. Emily is particularly passionate about helping children and families with issues of self-esteem, childhood trauma, divorce and remarriage, behavioral modification, adoption and foster care, and parenting skills.
She is trained to utilize eye movement desensitization and Reprocessing (EDMR) therapy, which is extremely effective in treating trauma and many other mental health problems. Emily approaches therapy from a cognitive-behavioral perspective, and enjoys integrating creativity, play, and faith in the therapeutic process.
